A top price for Jacques Blanchard - as previously expected
In June 2007 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings, which included the work L'Annonciation by Jacques Blanchard. The price achieved of EUR 48,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, L'Annonciation is the most expensive artwork by Jacques Blanchard that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Annonciation von Jacques Blanchard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 48.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist L'Annonciation das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jacques Blanchard, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
