This artwork by Jacobus Vonck achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2014. In the Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art auction, the work A gold finch, a common kingfisher and a hooded Siskin, all on a stone ledge sold for EUR 11,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacobus Vonck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo, A Golden Pheasant, A Cardinal And A Toucan In A Landscape in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,220.97).

In der Auktion Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art wurde die Arbeit A gold finch, a common kingfisher and a hooded Siskin, all on a stone ledge für EUR 11.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00.
