The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,400.00 (€ 3,994.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape With Herders Tending To Their Livestock Outside Of A Barn is the most expensive artwork by Jacob Simonsz. van der Does that we have observed at auctions so far.
