The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,738.09) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Sibrandi Mancadan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peasants with livestock by classical ruins in an extensive landscape, with a youth playing a pipe in the foreground in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 96,000.00 (€ 70,278.18).
