Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 10,200.00 (€ 7,544.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Sibrandi Mancadan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peasants with livestock by classical ruins in an extensive landscape, with a youth playing a pipe in the foreground in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 96,000.00 (€ 70,278.18).
