The work Classical landscape with the Flight into Egypt by Jacob More was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Christies in London in May 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,712.35). Admittedly, works by Jacob More have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View Of The Lake Of Nemi, Anciently Called Speculum Dianae, Near Rome in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 63,650.00 (€ 80,455.73).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.712,35) einen neuen Besitzer.
