Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Paysage by Jacob Markiel. The price achieved of EUR 638.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Markiel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nu allonge in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,295.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage von Jacob Markiel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 638,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Markiel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nu allonge im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.295,15).
