In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Portrait Of A Bearded Man Wearing A Skullcap, Said To Be The Mayor Of Dordrecht sold for USD 43,750.00 (€ 30,124.63) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Gerritsz. Cuyp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Vanitas Still Life With An Angel Blowing Bubbles in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 273,058.69).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Gerritsz.
