Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Gerritsz. Cuyp erzielen.
