Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work A man sacrificing a lamb, sheep and cattle resting in the foreground by Jacob Gerritsz. Cuyp for EUR 4,375.00. This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Gerritsz. Cuyp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Vanitas Still Life With An Angel Blowing Bubbles in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 273,058.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A man sacrificing a lamb, sheep and cattle resting in the foreground von Jacob Gerritsz. Cuyp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Vanitas Still Life With An Angel Blowing Bubbles im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 374.500,00 (€ 273.058,69).
