Upper estimate price exceeded by 39 %.
In January last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Part I, which included the work Self portrait, bust-length by Jacob Ferdinand Voet. The »bidding war« ended at USD 69,300.00 (€ 61,808.78), 39% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jacob Ferdinand Voet have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 99,650.00 (€ 115,593.70) in December 2010 for the work Portrait of Philippe, Duc de Vendôme (1655-1727), Grand Prior of the Knights of Malta in France, bust-length, in a feigned oval.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Im Januar letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self portrait, bust-length von Jacob Ferdinand Voet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 61.808,78) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Jacob Ferdinand Voet haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 99.650,00 (€ 115.593,70) im Dezember 2010 für die Arbeit Portrait of Philippe, Duc de Vendôme (1655-1727), Grand Prior of the Knights of Malta in France, bust-length, in a feigned oval beobachtet.
