The work Portrait of John Crewe (d. 1752), of Crewe Hall, Cheshire, half-length, in an organza cloak and lace cravat by Jacob Ferdinand Voet was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Christies in London in July 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 52,151.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob Ferdinand Voet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of Philippe, Duc de Vendôme (1655-1727), Grand Prior of the Knights of Malta in France, bust-length, in a feigned oval, which sold at auction in December 2010 for GBP 99,650.00 (€ 115,593.70).

Die Arbeit Portrait of John Crewe (d. 1752), of Crewe Hall, Cheshire, half-length, in an organza cloak and lace cravat von Jacob Ferdinand Voet wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 52.151,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob Ferdinand Voet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of Philippe, Duc de Vendôme (1655-1727), Grand Prior of the Knights of Malta in France, bust-length, in a feigned oval beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für GBP 99.650,00 (€ 115.593,70) versteigert wurde.
