It achieved a price of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 52,151.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob Ferdinand Voet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of Philippe, Duc de Vendôme (1655-1727), Grand Prior of the Knights of Malta in France, bust-length, in a feigned oval, which sold at auction in December 2010 for GBP 99,650.00 (€ 115,593.70).

Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob Ferdinand Voet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of Philippe, Duc de Vendôme (1655-1727), Grand Prior of the Knights of Malta in France, bust-length, in a feigned oval beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für GBP 99.650,00 (€ 115.593,70) versteigert wurde.
