Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Erminia Santacroce Lancellotti (1647-1706), bust-length, in a lace-trimmed oyster dress with pearl earrings and necklace, and a bejewelled head-dress by Jacob Ferdinand Voet was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2014. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,384.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Ferdinand Voet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Philippe, Duc de Vendôme (1655-1727), Grand Prior of the Knights of Malta in France, bust-length, in a feigned oval in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 99,650.00 (€ 115,593.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of Erminia Santacroce Lancellotti (1647-1706), bust-length, in a lace-trimmed oyster dress with pearl earrings and necklace, and a bejewelled head-dress von Jacob Ferdinand Voet kam im Oktober 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
