Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2014 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings, which included the work Portrait of Diane Gabrielle de Thianges Mancini (?-1715), as Aphrodite, half-length, in a white dress and a red wrap, with flowers in her hair by Jacob Ferdinand Voet. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,374.45). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Ferdinand Voet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Philippe, Duc de Vendôme (1655-1727), Grand Prior of the Knights of Malta in France, bust-length, in a feigned oval in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 99,650.00 (€ 115,593.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Diane Gabrielle de Thianges Mancini (?-1715), as Aphrodite, half-length, in a white dress and a red wrap, with flowers in her hair von Jacob Ferdinand Voet zur Versteigerung kam.
