Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ivrit Invert by Jacob El Hanani was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,777.48). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob El Hanani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hebrew Alphabet NOF, which sold at auction in December last year for USD 10,710.00 (€ 10,011.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ivrit Invert von Jacob El Hanani kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.777,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob El Hanani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hebrew Alphabet NOF beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für USD 10.710,00 (€ 10.011,22) versteigert wurde.
