Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Self Portrait, by Jacob Eicholtz was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2004. It achieved a price of USD 836.50 (€ 680.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob Eicholtz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Portrait Of Catherine Lehman,, which sold at auction in March 2004 for USD 1,912.00 (€ 1,555.48).

Die Arbeit Self Portrait, von Jacob Eicholtz kam im März 2004 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 836,50 (€ 680,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob Eicholtz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Portrait Of Catherine Lehman, beobachtet, die im März 2004 für USD 1.912,00 (€ 1.555,48) versteigert wurde.
