Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jacob Eicholtz could be acquired at Christies in New York in August 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Portrait of Mrs. George Musser, holding a book changed hands for USD 500.00 (€ 347.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Eicholtz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Portrait Of Catherine Lehman, in March 2004 with an auction result of USD 1,912.00 (€ 1,555.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacob Eicholtz konnte im August 2011 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
