Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of Robert Mcclure by Jacob Eicholtz for USD 537.75 (€ 437.48). This price was achieved in the auction THE HOUSE SALE at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob Eicholtz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Portrait Of Catherine Lehman,, which sold at auction in March 2004 for USD 1,912.00 (€ 1,555.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of Robert Mcclure von Jacob Eicholtz für USD 537,75 (€ 437,48) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob Eicholtz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Portrait Of Catherine Lehman, beobachtet, die im März 2004 für USD 1.912,00 (€ 1.555,48) versteigert wurde.
