Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Jacob Dahlgren was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 5,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 3,500.00 (€ 406.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Dahlgren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Flipper VII". in May 2010 with an auction result of SEK 46,000.00 (€ 4,771.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jacob Dahlgren im Mai 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 5.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 3.500,00 (€ 406,91) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Dahlgren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Flipper VII". im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 46.000,00 (€ 4.771,44).
