Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jacob Bornfriend could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "Autumn bushes, brown and rose II". changed hands for SEK 45,000.00 (€ 4,242.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Bornfriend have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 29,379.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacob Bornfriend konnte im Mai 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit "Autumn bushes, brown and rose II". für SEK 45.000,00 (€ 4.242,08) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Bornfriend auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 29.379,25).
