Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Woman Holding A Fan by Jacob Adriaensz. Backer. The price achieved of USD 11,970.00 (€ 10,277.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Adriaensz. Backer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a gentleman, half-length, in a black coat with a white collar and cuffs, wearing a black hat, a glove in his right hand, before a column and a red curtain in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 173,663.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Woman Holding A Fan von Jacob Adriaensz. Backer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.970,00 (€ 10.277,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Adriaensz. Backer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a gentleman, half-length, in a black coat with a white collar and cuffs, wearing a black hat, a glove in his right hand, before a column and a red curtain im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 122.500,00 (€ 173.663,86).
