Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self portrait by Jack Hoggan was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 22,750.00 (€ 26,952.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jack Hoggan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scarlet Ribbons, Lovely Ribbons, which sold at auction in October 2020 for GBP 93,812.50 (€ 104,170.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self portrait von Jack Hoggan wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.750,00 (€ 26.952,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jack Hoggan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scarlet Ribbons, Lovely Ribbons beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für GBP 93.812,50 (€ 104.170,78) versteigert wurde.
