In October 2020 Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work Scarlet Ribbons, Lovely Ribbons by Jack Hoggan. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 93,812.50 (€ 104,170.78), 34% above the upper estimate. With this result, Scarlet Ribbons, Lovely Ribbons is even the most expensive work of art by Jack Hoggan that we have observed at auctions so far.
