Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work The Fifer by Jack Hoggan. The price achieved of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,153.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Hoggan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scarlet Ribbons, Lovely Ribbons in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 93,812.50 (€ 104,170.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Fifer von Jack Hoggan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.153,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Hoggan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scarlet Ribbons, Lovely Ribbons im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.812,50 (€ 104.170,78).
