Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jack Stuck could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Self Portrait (Study No. 4) changed hands for USD 375.00 (€ 336.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 700.00 – 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jack Stuck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in June 2015 for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,232.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jack Stuck konnte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Self Portrait (Study No. 4) für USD 375,00 (€ 336,20) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700,00 – 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jack Stuck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.232,74) versteigert wurde.
