Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jack Stuck could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Self Portrait as Pieta changed hands for USD 250.00 (€ 224.13) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Jack Stuck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,232.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jack Stuck konnte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Self Portrait as Pieta für USD 250,00 (€ 224,13) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jack Stuck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.232,74).
