Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Self Portrait (Silhouette) by Jack Stuck for USD 500.00 (€ 448.27). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jack Stuck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in June 2015 for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,232.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Self Portrait (Silhouette) von Jack Stuck für USD 500,00 (€ 448,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jack Stuck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.232,74) versteigert wurde.
