Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jack Goldstein was auctioned at Phillips in New York in February 2018. The price achieved of USD 40,000.00 (€ 32,757.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Goldstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jack Goldstein kam im Februar 2018 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 32.757,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Goldstein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42).
