Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scheepsmodel by Jaap Gidding was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2006. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,680.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jaap Gidding - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Underwater, which sold at auction in November 2006 for EUR 5,040.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scheepsmodel von Jaap Gidding kam im Juni 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.680,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jaap Gidding mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Underwater beobachtet, die im November 2006 für EUR 5.040,00 versteigert wurde.
