Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Porches and clock by Iwao Yamawaki. The price achieved of GBP 938.00 (€ 1,168.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Iwao Yamawaki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bather collage in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,342.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Porches and clock von Iwao Yamawaki zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 938,00 (€ 1.168,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Iwao Yamawaki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bather collage im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.342,16).
