Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Egg on rug by Iwao Yamawaki was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in May 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,803.40). Admittedly, works by Iwao Yamawaki have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bather collage in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,342.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Egg on rug von Iwao Yamawaki wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.803,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iwao Yamawaki auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bather collage im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.342,16).
