Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2012 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Articulated mannequin arm by Iwao Yamawaki. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,803.40). Admittedly, works by Iwao Yamawaki have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bather collage in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,342.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Articulated mannequin arm von Iwao Yamawaki zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.803,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iwao Yamawaki auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bather collage im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.342,16).
