In June 2017 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Forest flowers by Ivan Shishkin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 75,000.00 (€ 85,411.01), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Shishkin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Forest Clearing in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 3,177,000.00 (€ 2,040,724.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Forest flowers von Ivan Shishkin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 85.411,01) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivan Shishkin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Forest Clearing im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.177.000,00 (€ 2.040.724,56).
