Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Two Figures) by Ivan Peries was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2014. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,990.17). Admittedly, works by Ivan Peries have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March this year with an auction result of USD 23,940.00 (€ 22,019.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Two Figures) von Ivan Peries wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.990,17) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivan Peries auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.940,00 (€ 22.019,87).
