In March 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Earthcrust Ii; Untitled by Ivan Peries. The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,801.42), 53% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ivan Peries; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in March this year with the realized price of USD 23,940.00 (€ 22,019.87).

Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Earthcrust Ii; Untitled von Ivan Peries zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.801,42) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ivan Peries; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 23.940,00 (€ 22.019,87).
