Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work From Don, George and Diane by Ivan Morley was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in December this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,664.00 (€ 1,916.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Morley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A True Tale in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,930.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit From Don, George and Diane von Ivan Morley wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.664,00 (€ 1.916,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivan Morley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A True Tale im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.930,64).
