Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Day I Gave Up God by Ivan Lam was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 22,131.71). Other works by Ivan Lam have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 32,229.75) in May 2013 for the work A Yellow Diamond.

Die Arbeit The Day I Gave Up God von Ivan Lam wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 22.131,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Ivan Lam haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 32.229,75) im Mai 2013 für die Arbeit A Yellow Diamond beobachtet.
