Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Forest by Ivan Shishkin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,425.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Shishkin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Forest Clearing in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 3,177,000.00 (€ 2,040,724.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Forest von Ivan Shishkin kam im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 20.425,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivan Shishkin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Forest Clearing im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.177.000,00 (€ 2.040.724,56).
