Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Forest by Ivan Shishkin was sold in the Important Russian Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2012. It changed hands for a price of GBP 881,250.00 (€ 1,085,610.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 700,000.00 – 900,000.00. Other works by Ivan Shishkin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work The Forest Clearing was auctioned for USD 3,177,000.00 (€ 2,040,724.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Forest von Ivan Shishkin wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 881.250,00 (€ 1.085.610,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700.000,00 – 900.000,00.
