Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work Haystacks, Preobrazhenskoe by Ivan Shishkin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 397,250.00 (€ 463,748.70). Admittedly, works by Ivan Shishkin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Forest Clearing in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 3,177,000.00 (€ 2,040,724.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Haystacks, Preobrazhenskoe von Ivan Shishkin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 397.250,00 (€ 463.748,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivan Shishkin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Forest Clearing im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.177.000,00 (€ 2.040.724,56).
