Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work San Marco by Ivan Gregorovitch Olinsky was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,234.51). Admittedly, works by Ivan Gregorovitch Olinsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Young Woman in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 22,800.00 (€ 17,048.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit San Marco von Ivan Gregorovitch Olinsky im März 2010 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.234,51) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivan Gregorovitch Olinsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Woman im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.800,00 (€ 17.048,00).
