Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Reading a Story by Ivan Gregorovitch Olinsky was auctioned at Christies in New York in June 2000, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 8,812.50 (€ 9,232.58). Other works by Ivan Gregorovitch Olinsky have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2007 by the work Portrait Of A Young Woman at USD 22,800.00 (€ 17,048.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Reading a Story von Ivan Gregorovitch Olinsky im Juni 2000 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 8.812,50 (€ 9.232,58) den Besitzer.
