The auction ended at the price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,270.79), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Israel Hershberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four Quinces, which sold at auction in March 2011 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 42,304.17).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 19.270,79) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Israel Hershberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Four Quinces beobachtet, die im März 2011 für USD 60.000,00 (€ 42.304,17) versteigert wurde.
