A top price for Ismail Awi
When the work Wake Up, Sleepy Head! by Ismail Awi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 50,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,890.22). This high result makes Wake Up, Sleepy Head! the most expensive artwork by Ismail Awi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Wake Up, Sleepy Head! von Ismail Awi im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
