Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art, which included the work Nature Morte Au Livres by Ismael de la Serna. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,374.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ismael de la Serna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nature morte aux instruments de musique in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature Morte Au Livres von Ismael de la Serna zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.374,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ismael de la Serna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nature morte aux instruments de musique im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.400,00.
