Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bright Beach by Isca Greenfield-Sanders was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2015. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,394.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isca Greenfield-Sanders achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Scarf in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 54,000.00 (€ 40,816.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bright Beach von Isca Greenfield-Sanders kam im Dezember 2015 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.394,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isca Greenfield-Sanders erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Scarf im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 54.000,00 (€ 40.816,33).
