Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On the beach by Isaac Israëls was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 88,200.00 (€ 103,432.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Isaac Israëls have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Raden Mas Jodjana in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,325,000.00 (€ 494,995.07).

Die Arbeit On the beach von Isaac Israëls kam im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 88.200,00 (€ 103.432,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isaac Israëls auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Raden Mas Jodjana im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.325.000,00 (€ 494.995,07).
