Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mona Isa by Isa Genzken was sold in the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,125.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isa Genzken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fenster in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 677,000.00 (€ 946,953.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mona Isa von Isa Genzken wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.125,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isa Genzken erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fenster im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 677.000,00 (€ 946.953,90).
