Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Irving Ramsay Wiles could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Portrait Of Juliet Inness changed hands for USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,292.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Irving Ramsay Wiles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Corner Table in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 635,000.00 (€ 488,912.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Irving Ramsay Wiles konnte im September 2012 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture wechselte die Arbeit Portrait Of Juliet Inness für USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.292,31) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Irving Ramsay Wiles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Corner Table im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 635.000,00 (€ 488.912,84).
