Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Roses in a vase by Irene Klestova was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,504.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Irene Klestova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mixed roses in a porcelain jardinière in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,876.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Roses in a vase von Irene Klestova kam im September 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.504,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Irene Klestova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mixed roses in a porcelain jardinière im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.876,46).
