Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Morning by Inka Essenhigh for GBP 375.00 (€ 425.68). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Inka Essenhigh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Adoration in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 132,000.00 (€ 106,891.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Morning von Inka Essenhigh für GBP 375,00 (€ 425,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Inka Essenhigh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Adoration im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 132.000,00 (€ 106.891,25).
